Kiri Vehera Stupa, Sri Lanka'nın tarihi Polonnaruwa şehrinde bulunan eski bir Budist anıtıdır. Bu kutsal stupa, 12. yüzyılda Kral Parakramabahu I'in yönetimi sırasında inşa edilmiştir ve bölgedeki en önemli ve en iyi korunmuş dini yerlerden biridir. "Kiri Vehera" adı, "Süt Stupa" olarak çevrilebilir ve bu, beyaz parlak görünümünü ve Sri Lanka'nın Budist mirasındaki önemini yansıtmaktadır.

Stupa, güzel bir şekilde oyulmuş taş sütunlar ve eski kalıntılarla çevrili büyük bir kubbe şeklindeki yapısıyla ünlüdür. About Polonnaruwa District

Polonnaruwa is the 2nd largest city in north central province in Sri Lanka.
