அம்பாரா மாவட்டம் பற்றி

அம்பாரா, இலங்கையின் கிழக்கு மாகாணத்துக்கு உட்பட்டது. இது இலங்கையின் கிழக்கு கடற்கரையில் உள்ள ஒரு தூரம்தானிய நகரமாகும், தலைநகரான கோலம்போவிலிருந்து சுமார் 360 கி.மீ. தொலைவில் அமைந்துள்ளது. அம்பாரா என்பது நாட்டின் பெரிய அரிசி உற்பத்தி மாகாணமாகும் மற்றும் இலங்கையின் கிழக்கு கடற்கரையில் இந்திய பெருங்கடல் ஒரு கடல் வளமாக பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. இம்மாவட்டத்தில் பெரும்பாலும் சிங்களர்கள் வாழுகின்றனர், மேலும் கடலோர பகுதிகளில் தமிழர்கள் மற்றும் முஸ்லிம்கள் வாழ்கின்றனர்.

கிழக்கு மாகாணம் பற்றி

கிழக்கு மாகாணம் இலங்கையின் 9 மாகாணங்களில் ஒன்றாகும். இந்த மாகாணங்கள் 19 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டிலிருந்து உள்ளன, ஆனால் அவற்றுக்கு சட்ட ரீதியான நிலை 1987 ஆம் ஆண்டு இலங்கை அரசியலமைப்பின் 13வது திருத்தத்தின் மூலம் மட்டுமே கிடைத்தது, இதன் மூலம் மாகாண சபைகள் நிறுவப்பட்டன. 1988 மற்றும் 2006 இடையே, இந்த மாகாணம் வடக்கு மாகாணத்துடன் தற்காலிகமாக இணைக்கப்பட்டது மற்றும் வடகிழக்கு மாகாணமாக உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. மாகாணத்தின் தலைநகரம் திரிகோமலாய் ஆகும்.

கிழக்கு மாகாணத்தின் பரப்பளவு 9,996 சதுர கிலோமீட்டர் (3,859.5 சதுர மைல்) ஆகும். இந்த மாகாணம் வடக்கு மாகாணத்தால் வடக்கில், பெங்காலி வளைகுடா மூலம் கிழக்கில், தெற்கில் தெற்கு மாகாணத்தால் மற்றும் பசுமை மாகாணம், மத்திய மாகாணம் மற்றும் வட மத்திய மாகாணங்கள் மேற்கில் வரையறுக்கப்படுகிறது. மாகாணத்தின் கடற்கரை பல பெரிய சிமெந்துகள் (லாகூன்கள்) கொண்டுள்ளது, அதில் முக்கியமானவை பாட்டிகலோவா லாகூன், கோக்கிலாய் லாகூன், உபார் லாகூன் மற்றும் உல்லகளியே லாகூன் ஆகியவை.
