Wedagedara Osuvita is where the company began. In 2017 three childhood friends from the North Western Province set out to give people a herbal alternative to chewing betel, and Osuvita, "the alternate chewing sensation", was the result. It is a blend of traditional Ayurvedic herbs and spices bound with bee honey, chewed like a betel quid for a fresh mouth and fresh breath, without the areca nut, tobacco or lime.
Osuvita won the Best National Industry Brand award (small-scale Ayurvedic and allied industry sector) at the Industrial Development Board's National Industry Brand Excellence Awards 2024.
How to use
Chew one piece slowly when you would otherwise reach for betel, or after a meal for a fresh mouth.
