We offer you a wonderful opportunity to explore the hidden depths of this treasure trove by trekking through the dense jungle area and admiring the diverse ecosystems that make it so mysterious and majestic in a short period of time.

You can meet our guide at the Deniyaya Entrance of the forest reserve or we can make arrangements to pick you by the Mederipitiya Bridge upon prior notice for an additional fee.

You can start off by meeting our naturalist guide at the Deniyaya Entrance of the Sinharaja Rain Forest, leading you through the dense jungle along hidden trails known to them up to a nearby village and towards the Kekuna Ella Waterfall which is always a breathtaking sight. You can even have a bath in the cool shallow waters of the falls while you should be prepared with your swim wear.

The guide is highly proficient in locating elusive flora and fauna so make sure that you have your binoculars (will be provided) and cameras in hand to click away some of natures beautiful wonders.

The tour will take at least 3 hours while you will be walking out of the Rainforest before sunset. This half day experience is suitable for the elderly travelers and families with kids to enjoy a glimpse of Sinharaja.

Torential rain can be expected from time to time while leeches will be found in abundance during the rainy season. Proper clothing will protect you from the leeches while we also provide you with leech socks. Rain coats and binoculars will also be provided.

A tea factory visit can be arranged upon request.
