The Experience
The Sinharaja Rain Forest 7 Waterfall Jeep Tour begins at the Deniyaya Entrance, where you will set out on a jeep to explore the forest's hidden wonders. The guides are familiar with all trails and skilled at spotting endemic wildlife that thrive within Sinharaja. During the journey, you will visit seven waterfalls including Kekuna Ella Falls, Pathan Oya Ella, Brahakmana Ella, Ura Vatuna Ella, Duvili Ella, Galdoruwa Ella, and Thattu Ella.
The tour lasts approximately seven hours, giving you ample time to enjoy nature photography. Bring your camera gear if you are interested in capturing waterfalls and forest landscapes. Lunch will be served in the jungle, and you may also enjoy a cool bath in the shallow natural pools near one of the waterfalls. Be sure to bring swimwear. The tour concludes before sunset.
Note: Torrential rain may occur from time to time, and leeches are abundant during the rainy season. Appropriate clothing is recommended to navigate comfortably and avoid leech bites, especially when stepping out of the jeep.
