Kameshwari Modakaya is a traditional Sri Lankan Ayurvedic preparation from Sewanagala Ayurveda. A modaka is a classical Ayurvedic dosage form: finely powdered herbs and spices bound with bee honey and ghee into a soft, dense confection. The maker also sells the Kameshwari formula as Kameshwari Rasayanaya.
Ingredients
Pepper, ginger, tippili (long pepper), aralu, bulu, nelli, cumin, sweet cumin, kola aralu, suwanda kottan, coriander, sahinda lunu (rock salt), ginger piyali, thalis pathra, athdemata bark, namal renu, heen asamodagam, maha asamodagam, velmi (liquorice), black cumin, cardamom, cinnamon bark and theja pathra, with bee honey, ghee and sugar. The herbal mixture is fried in ghee and blended with hemp (kansa) seeds and leaves, and sugar is added at twice the weight of the herbs.

How to use
The carton gives one kalang (5 g) twice a day with milk; the Tamil panel adds turmeric to the milk. Confirm use with a doctor or qualified Ayurvedic physician first.
