A suspension that is widely available in Sri Lanka for its traditional Ayurvedic goodness, the Rajapura Sudarshana Paniya is a remedy that is used for all types of fevers, colds, coughs, wheezing, throat infections and imbalances of Va (air), Pith (bile) and Sem (phlegm). It’s myriad of traditional local herbs allows one to improve the immune system and body strength.
The suspension acts as an antipyretic, antimalarial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory syrup which is considered safe for both adults and children while there have been no adverse side effects that has been associated with the product. Some of the most known ingredients of the Rajapura Sudarshana Paniya include the Triphala combination (Terminalia chebula/Terminalia bellirica/Phyllanthus emblica), ginger (Zingiber officinale), black pepper (Piper nigrum), Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) and Bee honey.
Safety: It should always be used under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner, especially for children and those suffering from chronic ailments. It is not to be considered as a substitute for modern medicines or vaccinations. Side effects might be allergic reactions to certain ingredients.
Dosage :
For Adults: 20ml three times a day before each of the 3 main meals. For Children: 10ml three times a day before each of the 3 main meals.
