About this experience
Step inside the 17th-century ramparts of Galle Fort and let a local guide — whose family has lived here for generations — bring the cobblestoned streets to life. Over two hours you wander past Dutch-named lanes and colourful colonial houses, pause at the lighthouse that once guided ships into the harbour, and explore the fort's museums and their carefully kept artefacts.
