Experience:

The Kodigahakanda Sanctuary is home to natural granite rock faces, offering a unique rock-climbing experience near Colombo. With about eight climbing routes of varying difficulty (grades 5c to 7b), there's a challenge suitable for both beginners and more experienced climbers.

Your climbing session will last around 1.5 to 2 hours, while the whole activity spans approximately half a day. Common schedule slots are in the morning (around 08:00) or afternoon (13:00–17:00), depending on bookings and weather conditions.

Throughout the climb, professional guides will assist you along secure, anchored routes, either through top-roping or sport-style climbing, depending on your experience. The forested hill scenery of the sanctuary adds to the challenge and beauty, making this both a physical and nature-filled adventure.
