About this experience

Sri Lanka has been a living centre of Theravada Buddhism since the third century BCE, and this private nine-day pilgrimage puts its most sacred sites within comfortable reach. Travel in your own vehicle with a dedicated English-speaking chauffeur guide who handles every transfer and accommodation stop along the way. All taxes and service charges are covered, so you move between temples, stupas, and shrines without administrative distraction.

At each site your guide provides context drawn from Sri Lanka's deep tradition of Buddhist scholarship — the same island that preserved the Pāli Canon and produced the revered scholar Buddhaghosa. Entrance fees, beverages, and gratuities are settled separately, keeping costs transparent. The tour is fully private, meaning the pace and focus remain yours throughout all nine days.
