Forest Fruit Fusion is a flavoured black tea from Akbar, sold as a box of 20 individually foil-wrapped tea bags, 40g net (2g per bag).
The tea is high-grown Ceylon black tea of Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings (BOPF) grade, blended with natural forest fruit flavours. The cup is full-bodied and dark, with berry and cherry notes over the brisk strength of the tea. The fruit is there to flavour the tea, not replace it, so it still tastes like a proper cup of black tea.
It works hot on a cool evening and cold on a warm day. For iced tea, brew two bags in a mug, leave to cool and pour over plenty of ice. Drink it plain or lightly sweetened; a little milk is possible but hides the fruit.
