Toyota Land Cruiser
Toyota Land Cruiser (japoński: Hepburn: Toyota Rando-Kuruza) (czasami pisane również jako LandCruiser) to seria pojazdów z napędem na cztery koła produkowanych przez japońskiego producenta samochodów Toyota. Jest to najstarsza seria modeli Toyoty. W 2019 roku sprzedaż Land Cruiserów na całym świecie przekroczyła 10 milionów sztuk.
Produkcja pierwszej generacji Land Cruisera rozpoczęła się w 1951 roku. Land Cruiser produkowany był w wersjach kabriolet, hardtop, kombi i podwozie z kabiną. Niezawodność i trwałość Land Cruisera przyczyniły się do jego ogromnej popularności, szczególnie w Australii, gdzie jest to najlepiej sprzedający się pojazd z ramą i napędem na cztery koła. Toyota przeprowadza również intensywne testy Land Cruisera w australijskim buszu, który uważany jest za jedno z najtrudniejszych środowisk operacyjnych pod względem temperatury i terenu. W Japonii Land Cruiser był kiedyś dostępny wyłącznie u japońskich dealerów Toyoty, zwanych Toyota Store.
Od 1990 roku mniejsza wersja Land Cruisera jest sprzedawana pod nazwą Land Cruiser Prado. Opisana przez Toyotę jako "lekka" wersja Land Cruisera, ma inny design w porównaniu do pełnowymiarowego modelu i do 2023 roku pozostaje jedynym Land Cruiserem nastawionym na komfort, dostępnym w wersji z krótkim rozstawem osi i trzema drzwiami.
Od 2023 roku pełnowymiarowy Land Cruiser był dostępny na wielu rynkach. Wyjątki to Stany Zjednoczone (od 2021 roku), Kanada (od 1996 roku), Malezja (która otrzymuje zamiast tego Lexus LX), Hongkong, Makau, Korea Południowa, Brazylia oraz większość Europy. W Europie jedynymi krajami, w których pełnowymiarowy Land Cruiser jest oficjalnie sprzedawany, są Gibraltar, Mołdawia, Rosja, Białoruś i Ukraina. Land Cruiser jest bardzo popularny na Bliskim Wschodzie, w Rosji i Australii, a także w Afryce, gdzie jest używany przez rolników, przemysł budowlany, organizacje pozarządowe i humanitarne, ONZ, armie narodowe (często wersja pick-up) oraz nieregularne grupy zbrojne, które przerabiają je na "techniczne" pojazdy, montując karabiny maszynowe na tylnej części. W sierpniu 2019 roku łączna sprzedaż globalna rodziny Land Cruiser przekroczyła 10 milionów sztuk.
