The Long Call

Detective Matthew Venn returns to his hometown in North Devon for his father's funeral, estranged from the strict evangelical community he abandoned years ago. Tasked with investigating his first major case in the Two Rivers region, Venn must navigate a complex landscape far removed from the idyllic tourist destination it appears to be. A body discovered on the beach sets him on a challenging investigation that will test his resolve and force him to confront the secrets of his past.
