Vissen
Met zijn uitgestrekte kustlijn en talrijke reservoirs en meren is Sri Lanka een uitstekende plek om je lijn uit te werpen en deel te nemen aan de opwindende sport van binnenwater- en diepzeevissen. Binnenwater vissen kan het hele jaar door worden georganiseerd dankzij de constante kalmte van het water in de binnenwateren en reservoirs die zich door Sri Lanka bevinden. Zoals bij alle zeegebonden activiteiten, is diepzeevissen in Sri Lanka echter afhankelijk van het seizoen, waarbij de west- en zuidkust toegankelijk zijn van november tot april, en de oostkust geschikter is van mei tot september. Je kunt kiezen om vanaf het strand zelf te vissen of verder de zee op te gaan in een ingebouwde of buitenboord motorboot van glasvezel en proberen te trollen. Alle reddingsvesten, hengels, aas en andere uitrusting worden geleverd. Vistoeren kunnen op dagelijkse basis worden geregeld of als onderdeel van een langer reisschema.
