디야탈라와 마을
디야탈라와 ("물을 댄 평원"이라는 의미)는 스리랑카 중부 고원지대의 우바 주 바둘라 지역에 있는 옛 주둔지 마을입니다. 해발 1,281m(4,203피트)에 위치하고 있으며 현지 휴가객들에게 인기 있는 여행지가 되었습니다. 이곳에는 스리랑카 육군 사관학교, 육군 장교 훈련 센터를 포함하는 스리랑카 육군의 디야탈라와 주둔지, 스리랑카 공군의 지상 전투 훈련 센터인 SLAF 디야탈라와, 그리고 스리랑카 경찰의 시설이 있습니다.
폭스 힐(디야탈라와)은 스리랑카 육군 사관학교가 주최하는 연례 폭스 힐 모터 크로스의 개최지로, 이 나라에서 가장 중요한 모터 레이싱 행사 중 하나입니다.
폭스 힐(싱할라어로 나리야 칸다)은 한때 언덕 전체에 흩어져 있던 수백 개의 거친 석영 암석에 여우 형상을 새긴, 디야탈라와 기차역 맞은편 경사면 전체를 영국 군인들이 구내식당 마을에서 조각한 것에서 이름을 따왔습니다. 스태그 힐(싱할라어로 고나 칸다)도 폭스 힐과 유사한 언덕의 동일한 암각화 양식을 따라 명명되었습니다.
고도가 높기 때문에 중부 고원지대의 하푸탈레와 반다라웰라의 언덕 휴양지 사이에 위치한 주둔지 마을 디야탈라와는 스리랑카 저지대보다 훨씬 더 시원한 기후를 가지고 있으며, 연평균 기온은 19°C입니다. 겨울철에는 밤에 상당히 춥고 서리가 내리기도 합니다.

Bogoda Wooden BridgeThe Bogoda Wooden Bridge was built in the 16th century during the Dambadeniya era. This is said to be the oldest surviving wooden bridge in Sri Lanka. The bridge is situated at 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) west of Badulla.

Dunhinda FallsDunhinda Falls is situated about 5 km away from Badulla town. It is 63 meters high and is considered to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. The falls gets its name dew to the smoky dew drops spray.
