Gulma Sanniya è una maschera rituale tradizionale dello Sri Lanka che rappresenta il demone che si ritiene causi malattie legate allo stomaco come gonfiore e dolore addominale. Realizzata a mano in legno di Kaduru, la maschera presenta un viso giallo con espressioni esagerate (occhi sporgenti, sopracciglia rugose e accenti rossi) per riflettere il disagio e la malattia. Utilizzata in rituali di guarigione come Sanni Yakuma, è sia un artefatto culturale che un simbolo di protezione spirituale

6. All masks are to be used as home decor items and not to wear for traditional kolam dancing. If you require wearable masks, you will need to order a specific type with spaces / gaps for the mouth, eyes and proper breathing. Custom made wearable masks can be ordered separately upon request and proper measurement.
