About this experience
Leave Bentota behind and head into Sri Lanka's hill country on this private two-day tour. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide collects you and drives through evergreen valleys and rolling tea estates before you reach Nuwara Eliya — the compact colonial-era town the British once nicknamed 'Little England'. Stroll its cool streets, take in the Tudor-style architecture, and settle in for your overnight stay (accommodation arranged separately).
On day two, set out early for Horton Plains National Park. Trek to World's End, where the plateau drops sharply and on a clear morning you look out across Sri Lanka from well over 2,000 metres above sea level. Transport throughout is by private car, with your chauffeur covering fuel, parking, and highway tolls. Entrance fees to sites are not included, so keep some rupees to hand.
