Barbet mit purpurroter Front
Kleiner, grüner Bartvogel mit roter Stirn, helloranger Zeichnung um die Augen, blauen Gesichtsseiten und streifenlosem Bauch. Gewöhnlich durch unaufhörliche Rufe aus den Baumkronen geortet. Kommt in offenen Waldgebieten, Gärten, Wäldern und Waldrändern im Tiefland und Vorgebirge vor, wo er typischerweise einzeln oder paarweise anzutreffen ist. Am häufigsten in der Feuchtzone, kommt aber auch lokal in der Trockenzone vor.
