Our Ceylon Cinnamon leaf essential oil is derived from distilling the leaves of the Ceylon Cinnamon trees grown in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). The quality of Ceylon Cinnamon is based on the level of Eugenol content present in the oil. The higher is the better. Any thing over 75% Eugenol content is considered very good quality. Our Cinnamon Leaf essential oil contains 70% - 85% of Eugenol.
