The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic

Ramboda Falls
Ramboda Falls is the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and is located near Pussellawa. The waterfall consists of three sections. You will get a good view of the middle section from the A5 highway, just above the bridge. This section is smaller compared to the other parts. The top part can be viewed from the main road, but not fully. To see the full view of the top part, you need to climb up, and there is a pathway just before the bridge. Although the climb may be difficult, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the top of the falls and its surroundings.
Sita Amman Temple
The Sita Amman Temple can be seen on the way to the Hakgala Botanical Gardens. The temple’s prominent architecture will immediately catch your attention. Ancient statues of Rama and Sita can be seen on one side of the temple. The temple is now a modern building, with paintings, statues, and pillars decorated with sculptures depicting the story of Rama and Sita.
Divurumpola Temple
Divurumpola Temple, still revered by thousands, is a holy site where Sita performed her Agni Pariksha (trial by fire) to prove her chastity to her husband, Rama. This practice has been continued for thousands of years, with villagers still pledging their fidelity or taking oaths here. In some courts, these oaths are legally binding. The temple has been respected and worshipped for generations.
