Foam Upon the Stream : A Japanese Elegy

This work reimagines two short novels by Ediriweera Sarachchandra through a free, creative translation that captures their essence while giving them new form. The fluid narrative weaves together the themes of both originals into a poignant meditation on loss and impermanence, rendered here as a Japanese elegy.
