Lakpura® Malla Plant

Lakpura® Malla Plant is a slow-growing small tree endemic to Sri Lanka, usually reaching 3–4 meters in height. Mostly found in the low-country wet zone, it is valued for its rarity, natural beauty, and traditional importance.

The leaves of the Malla tree are edible and commonly used as a crisp in local food preparations. It is also known in Ayurveda as a medicinal plant traditionally used in treatments related to snakebite, making it a valuable addition to herbal and native plant collections.
