Magician’s Tale

Photographer Kay Farrow sees the world in shades of grey, afflicted with a rare condition that strips away colour vision. When Tim, the young hustler featured in her current photographic project, is found brutally murdered, Kay ventures into San Francisco's shadowy erotic landscape, convinced the killing holds darker secrets than surface appearances suggest. Moving through the city's gay bars and SM clubs with her camera, she uncovers the fragments of Tim's hidden life while confronting truths about herself that lead toward a devastating reckoning.
