Ideal for adventure seekers and nature lovers, the Sinharaja Forest Adventure Tour allows you to explore the hidden treasure of this dense jungle where you will traverse jungle trails that are familiar with the guides. The trek allows you to experience nature as it unfolds in front of your eyes while you will encounter two waterfalls and a village bordering the rainforest.

Note on Transportation:

You can meet our guide at the Deniyaya Entrance of the forest reserve or we can make arrangements to pick you by the Mederipitiya Bridge upon prior notice for an additional fee.

Experience:

The Sinharaja Rainforest Adventure Tour can start off at the Deniyaya entrance of the reserve where you will meet your tour guide / naturalist. You will be lead through SInharaja along jungle trails that are known to them while you will encounter two waterfalls that speak volumes of the beauty of nature that Sri Lanka has to offer. Once you visit Kekuna Ella waterfall and Pathan Oya Ella waterfall, you are given the opportunity to even enjoy a bath in the cool yet shallow waters of one of them. Kindly be prepared with your swimwear if you do.

Along the trek, you will have the chance to visit a village and be a part of one of the families and experience true Sri Lankan hospitality.

The guide cum naturalist is highly proficient in locating elusive flora and fauna so make sure that you have your binoculars (will be provided) and cameras in hand to click away the wonders of nature. A challenging trek, this is more suitable for adventure seekers. The tour will take a maximum of 7 hours while you will be walking out of the Rainforest before sunset.

Note:

Torrential rain can be expected from time to time while leeches will be found in abundance during the rainy season. Appropriate clothing will help you navigate easily through the rain and also protect you from the leeches. We provide you with leech socks. Rain coats and binoculars will also be a part of the package.
