About this experience
This eight-day stay is built around an Ayurveda retreat on Sri Lanka's southern coast at Wadduwa, where a resident physician designs a personal programme of treatments, diet and yoga to rebalance body and mind. After arrival transfers from Colombo, the whole stay is spent at the one resort, with only an initial consultation and daily follow-ups structured into otherwise open days.
Travellers get a slow, single-base week rather than a touring itinerary: time on the beach and around the resort, yoga and meditation sessions, a cooking demonstration, a herbal garden tour and a visit to the on-site Ayurveda factory that produces the remedies used in treatment. It suits those wanting rest and a guided wellness programme rather than sightseeing.
Airport pick-up and the return drive are run in a private air-conditioned vehicle with a chauffeur guide; accommodation, meals, entrance fees and visas are arranged separately from this package, which covers transfers, chauffeur service and taxes.
