Udawalawe National Park, the sixth largest animal sanctuary of Sri Lanka, is located 112 miles (180 km) from Colombo in the south-central sector of the island. The park is situated just south of the Central Highlands, where the escarpment creates a stunning backdrop.

Experience:

You will begin your tour from Weligama at 12:00. Your chauffeur will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Udawalawe.>You will then proceed to Udawalawe National Park by 14:30, where you will meet your safari jeep for a 3 hr safari.

Enjoy an exciting safari as you explore the marshes, forests, and grasslands of Udawalawe National Park, which was established in the 1970s as a sanctuary for wildlife. See water birds and Sri Lankan elephants, for which the park is famous. You may also catch glimpses of other mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and butterflies during the tour.

After the safari, you will return to your vehicle and head to your hotel, arriving around 20:00 to complete your tour.
