The sixth ingredient, Malabar nut, or Justicia adhatoda, is an evergreen perennial shrub of the Acanthaceae family that grows widely across South and Southeast Asia and whose leaves contain a range of naturally occurring phytochemicals including alkaloids and flavonoids.
The capsules are manufactured by Dulina Trading (Pvt) Ltd at their facility on Kurunda Road, Meegama, Sri Lanka. That facility is certified to both GMP and ISO 22000 standards, meaning the processing and packing environment meets recognised international food safety benchmarks. The product is marketed by Me-Gha Caring (Private) Ltd, whose offices are in Colombo.
