MA's Kitchen Kerala Masala Curry Paste brings the aromatic flavours of South Indian cooking to the home kitchen. Inspired by traditional Kerala cuisine, it is a ready-to-use paste with a hint of coconut, made to give a rich and fragrant curry.
The paste blends chilli, coriander, curry leaves, lemongrass, fenugreek, pepper, pandan leaves, cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, fennel, asafoetida and other spices with onion, tamarind, garlic and coconut. Because the spices are already ground and blended, it saves the work of preparing a Kerala-style masala from scratch. It comes in a 60g pack.

How to use
For a Kerala Style Potato Masala, boil and roughly break potatoes, then fry sliced onion in a little oil, stir in the paste and cook for a minute or two. Add the potatoes with a splash of water, mix well so they are coated and simmer briefly. The paste also makes a base for vegetable, chicken or fish curries in the Kerala style.
