Lifetone Ginger Moringa Tea is a simple two-ingredient herbal tea: dried moringa leaf granules mixed with ginger, portioned into tea bags. It is made in the north of Sri Lanka, at Kilinochchi, and sold under the Lifetone name by Possible Green, whose distribution address is in Kingston upon Thames.
Each pouch holds 20 sachets of 1.5 grams, which is where the 30g in the name comes from. The pack is a resealable kraft-paper pouch with a red Lifetone badge, a round green label reading Pure Natural Ginger Moringa Tea, and a printed panel on the back giving the ingredients, preparation method and storage note, with the batch number and dates stamped on the front.
To prepare it, pour freshly boiled water over a tea bag and leave it to infuse for at least 2 minutes, give it a few stirs and a gentle squeeze to release the full essence and flavour, then lift it out of the cup. Once the pouch is opened, keep the contents in an airtight container.
Pregnant and lactating mothers, children, and anyone taking medication or facing surgery should consult their doctor before use. The tea is registered under the Department of Ayurveda in Sri Lanka.
You can buy a single pouch, a pack of 2 pouches or a pack of 5. It is offered as a traditional preparation, not as a medicine.
