Lakpura® Ceylon Kotmale Region Raw Coffee Beans

Lakpura® Ceylon Kotmale Region Raw Coffee Beans are sourced from village-based smallholder farms and selected plantation partners in the scenic Kotmale region of Sri Lanka’s Central Province. Grown in a cool and favourable highland climate, these raw coffee beans are carefully collected in small batches and delivered to our facility, where they are screened, graded, and sorted according to moisture level and bean uniformity before being safely packed.

The coffee from the Kotmale region is processed using a method similar to the natural or dry process, one of the oldest and most traditional ways of preparing coffee beans. Ripe coffee cherries are handpicked and sun-dried for around 2 to 6 weeks, allowing the beans to develop bold, fruity notes and a rich body. This traditional approach helps preserve the natural character and unique flavour profile of Kotmale coffee.
