Ashwagandha Oil from Gampaha Wickramarachchi is an Ayurvedic medicated oil made with ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) in a sesame oil base. Ashwagandha is one of the best-known plants of the Ayurvedic tradition, and the first part of its Sanskrit name, ashwa, means horse.
The maker is a fourth-generation family firm at Yakkala in the Gampaha District that handles every stage itself, from the herbs to manufacturing.
