Nilagama Estate

Nilagama Estate is het tuinmerk voor Pelmadulla Estate, gelegen tussen de steden Pelmadulla en Kahawatte in het district Ratnapura. Dit gebied staat bekend om zijn enorme afzettingen van edelstenen, waaronder blauwe saffier, en men gelooft dat het Pelmadulla Estate zelf over tal van onaangeboorde hulpbronnen beschikt. De hoogte van het landgoed ligt tussen 183 ~ 244 meter boven zeeniveau en de theefabriek bevindt zich op 189 meter. Het landgoed werd opgericht in 1905 met rubber als belangrijkste gewas voordat thee werd geïntroduceerd in 1924.
