Sri Lankan Cricket Experience

(SKU: LK921S01HB) This 3-hour tour gives you a great fun time as you join a local cricket team for a game. Get to know the history of the sport and its influential sportsmen. Learn the rules of the game at a popular cricket ground. Try your hand at some basic bowling and batting techniques with the expert guidance of a professional cricket team captain. Play a game against a local team.

Experience:

You will be starting your activity at 10:00 am or 3:00 pm, depending on your preference. Your tour guide will come and pick you up from the Panadura Main Bus Stand. On the way to the cricket grounds you will get to know more about the history of cricket and its growth in Sri Lanka as a major sport. You will also get to know about some of the best local and international cricket players throughout history.

Once you get to the cricket grounds, you will be introduced to a local cricket team, and their captain. The captain will take the time to explain the rules of the game and some basic techniques of bowling and batting in cricket. Then you will get some time to practice your skills, familiarizing yourself.

At approximately the 2 hours after the beginning of the activity, you will be having a mini cricket game of 6 a team, against the local cricket players. After enjoying this competitive experience, you can socialize and make new friends. There will also be a small memorabilia shop, where you can purchase a few souvenirs.

At the end of your tour, you will be dropped off at the bus stand once again, completing your tour at 1:00 pm or 6:00 pm according to your start time.
