Also known as Turkey Berry or Devils Fig and commonly referred to as Thibbatu in Sri Lanka, the pea eggplant is a bushy perennial plant. The fruits are the green berries that grow in clusters representing little green spheres that give a slight bitter taste with a hint of sweetness which helps to add a unique flavour profile and texture when cooking.
