The Toyota Voxy, a mid-sized MPV known for its versatility and family-friendly features, first debuted in the early 2000s. By 2014, the Voxy was in its second generation, which started in 2007. This generation was designed to offer spaciousness, practicality, and comfort for larger families or group transportation needs. Toyota’s reputation for reliability and efficiency added to its appeal.

The 2014 Toyota Voxy featured a boxy, functional design typical of MPVs. It was designed with a focus on maximizing interior space without compromising on style. The ground clearance of the Voxy was about 160mm, which is adequate for urban roads and moderate rural paths, making it quite versatile for various driving conditions in Sri Lanka.

The interior of the Voxy was notably spacious, with a flexible seating arrangement that could accommodate up to eight passengers. The cabin was designed for comfort and practicality. Boot space was highly versatile, offering significant cargo capacity, especially with the rear seats folded down or rearranged.

Equipped with a 2.0-liter engine, the Voxy offered a balance between performance and fuel efficiency. While it was not particularly sporty, the engine provided sufficient power for daily driving and comfortable cruising, suitable for the diverse driving conditions in Sri Lanka.

The ride quality in the Voxy was smooth and comfortable, with a suspension setup that effectively absorbed road imperfections, ensuring a comfortable ride for all passengers. It was well-suited for long journeys as well as city driving.
