도요타 어워드
토요타 프리미오와 그 자매 차종인 토요타 알리온은 2001년부터 2021년까지 토요타에 의해 일본에서 판매된 세단입니다. 이 세단들은 일본의 차체 치수 규정에 따라 컴팩트카로 분류되며, 정기적인 업데이트에도 외부 치수는 변경되지 않습니다. 토요타의 다른 차량들과 달리 프리미오와 알리온은 수출되지 않으며 일본 내에서만 독점적으로 판매되었습니다. 크기와 가격 면에서는 2018년에 일본 시장에 도입된 코롤라 E210이 프리미오와 알리온의 후속 모델로 자리 잡았습니다.
프리미오는 1957년에 처음 등장한 코로나의 후속 모델입니다. 1989년에 출시된 4도어 하드톱 세단인 코로나 EXiV는 프로그레스로 대체되었으며, 프로그레스는 2007년까지 짧은 기간 동안 프리미오와 함께 판매되었습니다.
