ヒングラクゴダ空港

ミンネリヤ空港としても知られるヒングラゴダ空港は、スリランカのヒングラゴダにある国内線空港です。スリランカ空軍基地ヒングラクゴダとしても知られる軍事空軍基地でもあります。

この施設は、ポロンナルワの町の北 6.4 海里 (11.9 km)、標高 46 メートル (151 フィート) に位置し、07/25 に指定された 2,287 × 46 メートル (7,503 フィート × 151 フィート) のアスファルト表面を持つ滑走路が 1 本あります。 )

歴史

この基地は、1942 年から 1946 年まで第二次世界大戦中に英国空軍の飛行場、ミネリヤ空軍基地として使用され、1978 年にスリランカ空軍によって改修され、再設立されました。

設備

SLAF ヒングラクゴダはスリランカで 4 番目に大きな空港で、滑走路はスリランカで 4 番目に長いです。この滑走路は、エアバス A320 ファミリー、ボーイング 737、ボーイング 757 などのナローボディ機を容易に収容できます。また、エアバス A300、エアバス A330、ボーイング 767、ボーイング 777 や緊急時にはボーイング 747 などのワイドボディ機にもしっかりと対応できます。

空港の唯一の滑走路には ILS (計器着陸システム) が装備されていないため、進入と離陸はすべて目視で行われます。
