About this experience
Lace up your boots and follow your local guide along the trail to the summit of Ella Rock — a three-hour private hike through tea country, jungle patches, and railway tracks that frame the route. The ascent is moderately strenuous, so expect a steady climb with rewarding stops along the way. Minimum age for the hike is five years, and the tour is conducted in English.
From the top, the panoramic views across the Ella Gap and surrounding hills make every uphill step worthwhile. Your guide covers the trail on foot from Ella town; hotel pickup and drop-off outside Ella town, food, drinks, and gratuities are not included, so pack a snack and some water before you set off.
