The Pasyale Shatavari Gopakanya Kwatha is an Ayurvedic herbal decoction that is typically used to support women’s health including menstrual irregularities, hormonal imbalance and overall, well-being of the female reproductive system. Kwatha means a type of Ayurvedic formulation that is prepared by boiling various herbs in water while the herbs differ according to the purpose of the Ayurvedic medication. In this decoction, the main ingredient is Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) which is a member of the asparagus family and also known as an adaptogenic herb, known to help your body cope with physical and emotional stress.
Shatavari is also considered as a general health tonic to improve one’s vitality, making it an essential in ayurvedic medicine. The herb is recognised for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties while it can also act as a diuretic and may help treat ulcers.
