Le lac Bolgoda ou la rivière Bolgoda est un lac d’eau douce situé dans la province de l’Ouest du Sri Lanka, à la frontière entre le district de Colombo et le district de Kalutara. Il se compose de deux principales étendues d’eau, une partie nord et une partie sud, reliées par un cours d’eau appelé rivière Bolgoda. Le lac se jette dans la mer à l’estuaire de Panadura. Le lac est un lieu populaire pour les sports nautiques.

Sports nautiques

Le lac Bolgoda ou la rivière Bolgoda est une destination célèbre pour les sports nautiques. De novembre à mars, les mers au large de Kalpitiya offrent d’excellentes conditions pour le ski nautique, les promenades en donut et de nombreuses autres activités nautiques disponibles dans la station. Les mers calmes durant cette période offrent une excellente opportunité même pour les débutants d’essayer le ski nautique. Les promenades en donut sont toujours très appréciées par les enfants et les divertiront certainement.

Pêche

Le lac Bolgoda ou la rivière Bolgoda possède un écosystème diversifié riche en faune et flore aquatiques. Bolgoda est célèbre comme destination de pêche et abrite plusieurs variétés populaires de poissons telles que Barramundi, Bull-eyed Mackerel, Trevally et Barracuda.

About Colombo District

Colombo is the largest city and commercial capital of Sri Lanka. It is located on the west coast of the island and adjacent to Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, the capital city of Sri Lanka. About Western Province

The Western Province is the most densely populated province of Sri Lanka. It is home to the legislative capital Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte as well to Colombo, the nation's administrative and business center. Western Province is divided into 3 main districts called Colombo (642 km²), Gampaha (1,386.6 km²) and Kalutara (1,606 km²) districts.
