Om denne oplevelse
Bible Rock — known locally as Bathelegala — is a striking square-topped formation that rises above the Kadugannawa Pass, visible for kilometres along the Kandy Road. On this private, five-hour hiking tour from Kegalle, your English-speaking trekking guide leads you through the forested slopes and up to the summit, where the ridge-line views reward every steep step. You carry a two-litre water bottle per person, and snacks are provided along the trail to keep you going.
Reach the top and sit down to a picnic breakfast with the mountains spread out around you. The minimum age for this hike is 12, and all taxes and service charges are covered in the price. Entrance fees, unspecified meals, and gratuities are not included. Lakpura arranges the guide and provisions — you bring sturdy footwear and the appetite.
