Om denne oplevelse
Board your air-conditioned vehicle in Koggala and spend 11 hours exploring the southern coast's quieter cultural corners. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide takes you to two sacred Buddhist temples before stopping at the ancestral home and museum of the late Martin Wickramasinghe — one of Sri Lanka's most celebrated authors — where personal artefacts and manuscripts bring his literary legacy to life. A visit to a snake farm in Matara adds an unexpected edge to the day.
The afternoon winds down at the Japanese Peace Pagoda, perched above calm ocean waters in time for sunset. Hotel pick-up and drop-off from Galle is included, along with a litre of bottled mineral water per person. Entrance fees, meals, and drinks are not included. This is a private tour, with a minimum age of five.
