Golden Health Blend from Ancient Nutra is a herbal supplement of 60 vegetarian capsules in a white tub with an orange label. Each capsule combines turmeric root, neem leaf and black pepper, three ingredients long used together in Sri Lankan and Indian Ayurveda.
Turmeric (kaha in Sinhala) gives the blend its golden colour; neem (kohomba) is a tree that grows across Sri Lanka; black pepper (gammiris) is added alongside the turmeric. The label carries a Department of Ayurveda registration number.

How to use
The label's directions: take with food, three to four capsules before a meal, up to four capsules a day. The maker advises taking it in courses, with a one-week break after every 8 to 12 weeks of use. Ask a doctor before use if you are pregnant, nursing or on any prescription.
