An Explosion in the Parliament of Sri Lanka

Forensic pathologists rarely encounter cases involving assassinations or attempted assassinations of heads of state during their careers. This work examines two pivotal historical events in Sri Lanka: the 1959 assassination of Prime Minister S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike and the 1993 assassination of President Ranasinghe Premadasa, alongside the failed 1987 attempt on President J.R. Jayewardene. Through forensic analysis and investigation, the book sheds light on these extraordinary incidents that shaped the nation's political landscape.
