Ceylon Tea as we now know comes in different varieties, which has flavors and aromas unique to itself. Along with the a variety of teas, there are varieties of grades that Ceylon tea has been separated into.

Ceylon Tea Lion-logoet

Løvelogoet, der vises på Ceylon-tepakker, angiver ikke kun oprindelseslandet, men også kvaliteten af Ceylon-te. Sri Lanka Tea Board er den legitime ejer af Ceylon Tea Lion-logoet, som er registreret i mange lande verden over.

Brugen af Løvelogoet er underlagt følgende betingelser:

Løvelogoet må kun bruges på forbrugerpakker med Ceylon-te
Pakkerne skal indeholde 100% ren Ceylon-te
Mærker, der bruger Løvelogoet, skal være pakket i Sri Lanka. Importører/pakkere i udlandet må ikke bruge Løvelogoet på deres tepakker, selvom pakkerne indeholder ren Ceylon-te
Mærker, der bruger Løvelogoet, skal overholde de kvalitetsstandarder, der er fastsat af Sri Lanka Tea Board
