Resplendent Ceylon

Resplendent Ceylon is the hotel company of the Fernando family, the founders of Dilmah Ceylon Tea, with five resorts in two collections that together make a circuit of Sri Lanka. Its Relais & Châteaux Collection is Ceylon Tea Trails, five colonial tea planters' bungalows in the hill country near Hatton, Cape Weligama on a clifftop above Weligama Bay and Wild Coast Tented Lodge beside Yala National Park; its Reverie Collection adds Ahu Bay, a beach house at Ahungalla on the south-west coast, and Kayaam Wellness, an Ayurveda retreat at Rekawa near Tangalle. Its positive-impact work runs through the MJF Foundation and Dilmah Conservation.
