சிலோன் தேநீர் என்பது இலங்கை தேநீர் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படும் ஒரு பிரபலமான கருப்பு தேநீர் வகையாகும். சிலோன் அதன் அடர் சுவைக்கு பெயர் பெற்றிருந்தாலும், தேயிலை வகை மற்றும் அது நாட்டில் எங்கு பயிரிடப்படுகிறது என்பதைப் பொறுத்து அதன் சுவை கணிசமாக மாறுபடும்.
Uva teas are grown in the picturesque tea gardens of the Eastern Highlands of Sri Lanka, at elevations of approximately 3,000 to 5,000 feet above sea level. Uva region teas are renowned worldwide by tea connoisseurs for their smooth, refined taste. These teas are best enjoyed during the season from the end of July to mid-August, which produces the finest of the Uva Seasonal Teas.
