Location of Pristine Hills Eco Lodge, Kandy

A short drive away from the historical city of Kandy, the Pristine Hills Eco lodge is a beautiful venue to spend your vacation in. The property is located on an 8 acre land area while it is only 1km away from the Kandy - Colombo main road. The turn off is near the famous fruit stalls of Kadugannawa while the distance from the Kandy town is approximately 19km. The distance from the Pristine Hills Eco lodge and Colombo is about 99km.

Accommodation at Pristine Hills Eco Lodge, Kandy

The Pristine Hills Eco lodge in Kadugannawa offers beautiful views of the hills and valleys of a part of the central region along with a spectacular view of the infamous Bible Rock. The lodge can easily sleep a maximum of 10 guests which is ideal for small families and groups of friends. The Pristine Hills Eco lodge consists of two bedrooms with two queen sized beds along with en-suite bathrooms. The third bedroom boasts of a double bed. Other facilities in all guestrooms include fans and air-conditioning while linen is provided.

Guests have a number of options when deciding on food when holidaying at the Pristine Hills Eco lodge. You can bring out your own provisions where the staff will be able to prepare delicious local meals. Guests are also offered all facilities if they wish to do the cooking by themselves. You can also order food from the nearby Rock View Restaurant or from a number of restaurants a short drive away. The eco lodge itself is a fine place to relax and witness nature-unfold right in front of you. The vast garden area is perfect to explore and spot a number small animals and birds.

Excursions and Day Tours from Pristine Hills Eco Lodge, Kandy 

There are a number of interesting excursions that you can make while in Kadugannawa. Since the town is a short drive away from Kandy, you can make a full day excursion to the ancient city and witness the temples and cultural inheritances that it possesses. For the adventure seeking traveller, there are a number of hikes that they can enjoy. A climb up the Bible Rock and Uthuwankanda are ideal for this. Other places that you can visit include the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and Ambuluwawa.

கண்டி மாவட்டம் பற்றி

இலங்கையின் மத்திய மாகாணத்தில் கண்டி மாவட்டம் அமைந்துள்ளது. இலங்கையில் உள்ள ஏழு உலக பாரம்பரிய தளங்களில் ஒன்றான கண்டி, 16 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் பண்டைய கண்டிய மன்னர்களின் தாயகமாகவும், நாட்டின் அனைத்து இசை, கலை, கைவினை மற்றும் கலாச்சாரத்திற்கான ஊற்றுக்கண்ணாகவும் இருந்தது. கொழும்பிலிருந்து சுமார் 129 கி.மீ தொலைவில், கண்டி ஒரு மலைப்பாங்கான நிலப்பரப்பில் சூழப்பட்டுள்ளது, மேலும் அனைத்து கண்களும் நகரத்தின் மையத்திற்கு ஈர்க்கப்படுகின்றன, அங்கு கண்டி ஏரி ஒரு அழகான அம்சத்தை உருவாக்குகிறது.

இலங்கைக்கு கண்டி பெரும் மத முக்கியத்துவத்தை தக்க வைத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளது, ஏனெனில் இந்த அழகான நகரத்தில்தான் தலதா மாளிகை அல்லது "பல் கோயில்" அமைந்துள்ளது, அதில் புத்தரின் புனித பல் நினைவுச்சின்னம் நன்கு பாதுகாக்கப்படுகிறது.

பேராதனையில் உள்ள அரச தாவரவியல் பூங்கா, பேராதனையில் உள்ள நகர மையத்திலிருந்து மேற்கே சுமார் 5 கி.மீ தொலைவில் அமைந்துள்ளது மற்றும் ஆண்டுக்கு 1.2 மில்லியன் மக்கள் வருகை தருகின்றனர். இது தீவின் மிகப்பெரிய தாவரவியல் பூங்கா ஆகும். உடவத்த கெலே (உடவத்த காடு) என்பது நகரின் மையப்பகுதியில், பல் கோவிலுக்கு வடக்கே அமைந்துள்ள ஒரு பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட சரணாலயமாகும். கண்டி சிங்கள பெரும்பான்மை நகரம்; மூர்ஸ் மற்றும் தமிழர்கள் போன்ற பிற இனக்குழுக்களைச் சேர்ந்த கணிசமான சமூகங்கள் உள்ளன. இலங்கை பொருளாதாரத்தின் மையமான கொழும்புக்கு அடுத்தபடியாக கண்டி இரண்டாவது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. பல முக்கிய கூட்டுறவு நிறுவனங்கள் கண்டியில் பெரிய கிளை அதிகாரிகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளன, மேலும் பல தொழில்களில் ஜவுளி, தளபாடங்கள், தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் நகைகள் ஆகியவை இங்கு காணப்படுகின்றன.

மத்திய மாகாணம் பற்றி

இலங்கையின் மத்திய மாகாணம் முதன்மையாக மலைப்பாங்கான நிலப்பரப்பைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. இந்த மாகாணம் 5,674 கிமீ² பரப்பளவையும், 2,421,148 மக்கள்தொகையையும் கொண்டுள்ளது. கண்டி, கம்போலா (24,730), நுவரெலியா மற்றும் பண்டாரவேலா ஆகியவை சில முக்கிய நகரங்களில் அடங்கும். மக்கள் தொகை சிங்களவர்கள், தமிழர்கள் மற்றும் மூர்களின் கலவையாகும். மலைத் தலைநகரான கண்டி மற்றும் நுவரெலியா நகரம் இரண்டும் மத்திய மாகாணத்திலும், ஸ்ரீ பாதத்திலும் அமைந்துள்ளன. மாகாணத்தில் உள்ள அனைத்து காபி தோட்டங்களையும் ஒரு பேரழிவு நோய் கொன்ற பிறகு, 1860 களில் ஆங்கிலேயர்களால் பயிரிடப்பட்ட பிரபலமான சிலோன் தேயிலையின் பெரும்பகுதியை இந்த மாகாணம் உற்பத்தி செய்கிறது. மத்திய மாகாணம் பல சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகளை ஈர்க்கிறது, கண்டி, கம்போலா, ஹட்டன் மற்றும் நுவரெலியா போன்ற மலைவாசஸ்தல நகரங்களுடன்.

கோயில் பல் அல்லது தலதா மாலிகாவா சென்ட்ரல் மாகாணத்தின் முக்கிய புனித இடமாகும். காலநிலை குளிர்ச்சியாக உள்ளது, மேலும் 1500 மீட்டர் உயரமுள்ள பல பகுதிகளில் பெரும்பாலும் குளிர் இரவுகள் இருக்கும். மேற்கு சரிவுகள் மிகவும் ஈரமாக உள்ளன, சில இடங்களில் வருடத்திற்கு கிட்டத்தட்ட 7000 மிமீ மழை பெய்யும். கிழக்கு சரிவுகள் மத்திய வறண்ட மண்டலத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாகும், ஏனெனில் இங்கு வடகிழக்கு பருவமழை மட்டுமே மழை பெய்யும். கண்டியில் 24°C முதல் கடல் மட்டத்திலிருந்து 1,889 மீ உயரத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள நுவரெலியாவில் வெப்பநிலை 16°C வரை இருக்கும். இலங்கையின் மிக உயரமான மலைகள் மத்திய மாகாணத்தில் அமைந்துள்ளன. நிலப்பரப்பு பெரும்பாலும் மலைப்பாங்கானது, ஆழமான பள்ளத்தாக்குகள் அதில் வெட்டப்படுகின்றன. இரண்டு முக்கிய மலைப் பகுதிகள் மத்திய மலைத்தொடர் மற்றும் கண்டியின் கிழக்கே நக்கிள்ஸ் மலைத்தொடர் ஆகும்.
