Experience:
Your tour will begin at 8:00 am from your hotel in Beruwala, where you will be picked up by your chauffeur. The first stop on your itinerary will be the scenic Madu River, where you’ll enjoy a 1.5-hour river safari. Madu River is a pristine waterway that meanders through lush mangrove forests and is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, monkeys, and reptiles. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the river’s natural beauty and take a boat ride through its serene waters.
At 11:00 am, you will proceed to Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, where you can learn about the conservation efforts to protect sea turtles. Here, you will have the chance to see hatchlings and learn about the different species of turtles that visit Sri Lanka's shores.
Your next stop is Bundala National Park, where you will enjoy a 3-hour safari. The park is renowned for its diverse birdlife, including migratory species, and its scenic wetlands.
