Birdwatching walk at Diyasaru Uyana in Mount Lavinia

(SKU: LK7500AEAB) Diyasaru Park is 60-acre urban wetland park located in the Thalawathugoda area of Sri Jayawardanapura, Colombo District, Sri Lanka. It comprises a range of wetland habitats such as marshes flooded woodlands, lakes, and ponds.

Experience:

You will be picked up from your hotel in Mount Lavenia, early in the morning, at 6 am. Your chauffeur will take you on a 30 mints drive to get to Diyasaru Uyana near Mount Lavenia. There you will meet up with your naturalist.From entrance, a short walk in nature trails in the wetland looking for water birds including some forest birds; and also butterflies, small mammals and other wildlife. Late morning drive back to hotel in Mount Lavenia.

Notes:

Comfortable clothing. Hardy hiking shoes appropriate for trudging in mud. A wide-brimmed hat or billed cap to keep off the sun.
